This book will teach you more than you imagined possible: very quickly: regardless of how difficult you have found learning an instrument in the past and it works with any tin whistle, flageolet or Indian flute in any key.

As you will see there are two editions of the book: one with tunes for adults, the other with tunes for children.

Usually when learning an instrument, they try to make you learn a subject you don't know (the instrument) in a language you don't understand and with a book full of tunes you have no interest in playing.

 

This book uses a completely new way to learn music. It uses a much easier instrument and provides a much easier way to learn tunes you already know. But that is just the start of this book.

 

It then makes it really easy for you to listen to the tunes you love and to play those instead. It then makes it really easy for you to compose your own tunes.  It will show you how to re-write those tunes into notes, in any key to play on any instrument, and then into sheet music.  There is even a section to show you how to play the advanced techniques with this instrument. 

It is also an easy transition from this instrument to any other wind instrument.

And, as a bonus, the tunes in the book have lyrics: so it doubles as a song book

Bob Campbell wrote the first edition of this book in 1996. It evolved as he spoke to more musicians and beginners.  These editions were written in 2011.
